In FY24, it became the first real estate company in India to have its long-term and net-zero goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), ensuring alignment with the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement. The company has set clear milestones: reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 97.9% by FY2028 and cutting Scope 3 emissions by 51.6% per square meter by FY2030. By FY2050, Lodha aims to achieve net zero across all scopes. Meeting these goals will require a multi-faceted approach, including deep energy efficiency measures, on-site renewable energy generation, and the transition to low-carbon construction materials.
