Lodha Lifesciences Hub: A New Research & Development Centre In Palava

Palava will soon be home to the city’s first life sciences research centre. Planned to be spread across 25 acres, the Lodha Lifesciences Hub will be Mumbai’s first systematically designed life sciences research and development hub, offering a full-stack solution and dedicated support infrastructure to meet the needs of Pharma and Biotech companies.

Palava already has a social ecology in place, which includes educational institutions, healthcare, sports, and entertainment. It would also give a boost to the ‘Make-in-India’ drive with this cutting-edge life sciences solution, paving the way for better employment.

Being built along the Ambernath – Badlapur road, the Lodha Lifesciences Hub will be in close proximity to Dombivli and Ambernath, the newest research & development talent hubs in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The hub will comprise of lab space modules designed for varied requirements, multi-tenanted wet laboratories, incubation facilities, and plug & play office solutions.

Expected to be completed by 2023, the project will entail the development of ‘Encube Ethicals’ R&D Centre of Excellence. Encube Ethicals, an integrated pharmaceutical company, dedicated to topical products, will develop a research and development centre spread across ~1 lakh sq ft.
