UrjaAnk at Palava: Lodha Foundation’s Green Initiative

Since its inception, Palava’s journey has naturally embraced sustainability. Every decision has been guided by the vision of building a future-ready, responsible development. UrjaAnk is the newest milestone in that journey - a first-of-its-kind large-scale research initiative under Lodha Foundation - designed to decode real household electricity consumption patterns. The objective is simple yet powerful: improve long-term energy efficiency while delivering measurable environmental and economic gains for the residents and for the generations to come.

Using advanced monitoring tools, Lodha will identify opportunities for improvement, implement targeted interventions, and create a scalable model for sustainability that the wider real estate industry can adopt.

To kick-start the programme, 40 households were selected through a blind draw and equipped with state-of-the-art Energy and Temperature Monitoring Devices at no cost. Installed in phases, these devices are now capturing real-time performance data that will inform future interventions and set fresh benchmarks for sustainable living.

UrjaAnk is more than a pilot - it is a quiet step towards a smarter, more responsible development. Because when small shifts are measured well, they compound into lasting impact.
