For the third consecutive year, Palava hosted the much-awaited 12-hour swimming challenge, Dusk to Dawn, at its Olympic Sports Centre in Lakeshore Greens. Organised by the Rupali Repale Swimming Academy and Mumbai Sea Swimmers, the event offered a gamut of categories: a 12-hour solo swim, a 12-hour relay for teams of four and a 4-hour solo swim, welcoming both amateurs and seasoned swimmers alike.
Participants were unanimous in their praise for the world-class facilities and seamless management.
Sudarshan Mohta from Mumbai said, “A huge thank you to the amazing organisers - what a fantastic experience!”
Rima P added, “Brilliant swimming pool, one of the clearest we’ve seen. Our kids are already looking forward to next year.”
Corina van Dam appreciated the sense of community, “The encouragement from fellow Palava participants made this event truly special. The welcoming vibe was a great booster.”
With its meticulously maintained world-class sporting infrastructure, of which the swimming facility is a prime example, and a commitment to active living, Palava continues to set benchmarks, giving swimmers from across Mumbai an event to eagerly look forward to each year.
