More than a Home, a Place that Cares

I never thought life could take such a sudden turn. I suffered a cardiac arrest few months ago. In those tense moments, the security and emergency services team at Palava rushed me to the hospital without a second’s delay. Thanks to their swift response, I received timely medical care and began my recovery.

But while I was lying in the hospital, a thought kept troubling me - my garden. Every plant, every flower has been a part of my daily joy and the scorching heat made me fear that I would return to find it withered.

To my surprise, when I came back home yesterday, I stepped into my garden and was overwhelmed. Not only had the horticulture team watered and cared for my plants every single day, but they had also replaced a few and even added new ones to brighten my space.

In that moment, I realised something profound - it isn’t just about living here, it’s about being cared for like family. Palava didn’t just protect my life; they also nurtured something I hold close to my heart. And that, to me, speaks volumes about what it means to truly belong here.
