A new chapter in connectivity has begun. The Shilphata-Katai flyover, located just outside Xperia
Mall, is now open. It brings with it a visible sense of ease for Palava residents.
Spanning 660 meters in length and 10.46 meters in width, the newly opened 3-lane bridge stands as
a key infrastructure, streamlining traffic flow right outside Xperia Mall and connecting Shilphata to
Katai with ease. The bridge will be decongesting the key junction and smoothing out everyday travel
for those who frequent this route.
By December 2025, the second stretch is expected to be ready - further extending this smoother
experience.
Looking slightly ahead, an even more defining change is on the horizon. In early 2026, the Mulund-
Airoli-Palava Freeway is set to become operational, creating a direct link from Palava to important
business districts. This will drop commute times to Airoli to just 20 minutes, and to Mulund in
around 25 minutes.
Step by step, the everyday rhythm of travel is being redefined – as these infrastructure projects drive
better connectivity, quietly becoming part of the Palava’s landscape.
For residents, these changes bring quiet convenience - not as sweeping changes overnight, but as
part of a well-thought-out, long-term vision for a more connected, accessible city.
Likewise, for much of Mumbai, this opens the door to experiencing a more elevated, well-rounded
way of life at Palava.
Sometimes, the most meaningful progress doesn’t announce itself loudly. It arrives gradually - just
like this.
