As a social initiative towards a better life, Lodha Group presented Khushii – India on Canvas IT
2007, in aid of the homeless children and the elderly citizens recently. Kapil Dev, the legendary
cricketer and Chairman of Khushii is enthralled with their teaming-up with Lodha Group,
Mumbai’s leading real estate developer for Khushii·- India on Canvas.
The second season of Khushii – India on Canvas IT has already seen prominent celebrities
coming together and painting for a noble cause. This initiative is a unique endeavour to bring
some of the most eminent personalities of India together with the greatest names in the art
fraternity to jointly create an artwork, which will then be auctioned on October 28 at the Turf
Club, Mumbai. The money raised from this auction will primarily benefit two of Khushii’s
projects. Commenting on the association with Lodha Group, Kapil Dev said, “Khushii – India on
Canvas ‘07 in its second year is overwhelmed to have support from Lodha Group. Individuals
such as Abhinandan Lodha have made this fund raiser possible and ensured there is support for
Khushii in its mission of working towards the betterment of the under-privileged by empowering
them through education and economic self sustenance.” Assuring his commitment towards India
on Canvas ‘07, Abhinandan Lodha, Director, Lodha Group said, “This is an event where talents
from different fields have come together for a noble cause.
Reiterating the Group’s vision of ‘Building a Better Life’, we have embarked upon this initiative
